Welcome, volunteers!

Fall Days of Caring will be here before we know it! This year’s event will take place Sept. 28-30. We are excited to welcome teams back and are grateful for the time and energy you give to our community each year.

Team registration will look a little different this fall. At this moment, local nonprofits are registering their projects and sharing the ways they could use volunteer support.

Team registration will open Aug. 17. This year, volunteer teams will be able to view the available projects and choose the one that works best for you. You can select your project, date and shift during registration. You will not have to wait for a project to be assigned, and you will know where your team is serving as soon as you register.

Projects will be scheduled Monday, Sept. 28, through Wednesday, Sept. 30. Shifts will run from 8 a.m. to noon and from noon to 4 p.m. each day.

What can your team do now?

  • Begin organizing your team. Choose a team captain and estimate how many volunteers will participate.
  • Gather team member names and contact information.
  • Talk about which dates and shifts work best.
  • Consider the types of projects your team would enjoy. Be sure to discuss any physical limitations or accessibility needs
  • Have a few project choices in mind.

Teams may include up to 12 volunteers.

We hope this new process will make registration easier and give teams more choice in where they serve. We appreciate your patience as we try something new and work to make Days of Caring a great experience for everyone.

The registration link and additional details will be shared before team registration opens.

Thank you for being part of Fall Days of Caring. Your willingness to show up and serve makes a difference in our community.
