Read on to learn how to begin your group service!
-
Complete the Group Volunteer Interest Form
Fill out our Group Volunteer Interest Form so we can learn more about your group including its size, scheduling needs, interests, skills, and any special needs or accommodations.
-
Share what you are looking for
On the form, be sure to let us know whether your group is interested in a one-time project, ongoing service, outdoor work, family-friendly options, or volunteering for a specific organization or cause.
-
Review available opportunities
You can begin by exploring our Ongoing Volunteer Opportunities page, where you'll find a regularly updated list of ways to serve in Findlay and Hancock County. Depending on your group's size and needs, Volunteers United can coordinate additional opportunities that are not listed, but still have a great impact on our community.
-
Connect with your agency
Once a project is selected, your group may work directly with the agency to confirm project details, expectations, necessary supplies, timing, location and more.
-
Show up and serve together
Arrive ready to help make a difference! Group volunteering is a meaningful way to support local organizations while strenghtening your bond as a group.
