Pinwheels represent child abuse awareness

Are you interested in becoming a foster family? Or maybe you're looking for an impactful way to support the foster care system in Hancock County?

Open Hearts, Open Home, is an event designed to bridge potential foster families with essential resources and advocates to help them get started on their journey to foster care. The evening's program will highlight common fears faced by potential foster parents and the realities behind each one. Presenters have lived-experience as foster parents and will be available after the program to answer questions.

The event will be held from 6-7:30 p.m. Saturday, April 25, at the Hilton Garden Inn (1050 Interstate Drive, Findlay).

It is being organized by Fostering Hancock County, comprised of representatives from United Way of Hancock County, YWCA and Hancock County Job & Family Services.
