FINDLAY, Ohio (Oct. 15, 2026) — Tickets are on sale now for United Way of Hancock County’s Downtown Restaurant Tour, which will generate $16,000 to support food security efforts in our community.

This popular annual event will return Thursday, Nov. 5, with over a dozen local bars and restaurants offering samples of some of their tastiest offerings. From 5-9 p.m. that evening, ticketholders can visit each business to sample the featured food, drink or dessert and get their “Passport” stamped.

Tickets are $40 each and can be purchased through the United Way’s website at www.uwhancock.org. Only 400 tickets will be sold, and this event typically sells out.

All proceeds from ticket sales will be put toward fighting hunger across Hancock County, meaning that this year’s event will raise $16,000. United Way’s partners in food security include Christian Clearing House, the Findlay Family YMCA, West Ohio Food Bank and the Salvation Army.

“The Downtown Restaurant Tour is certainly our most anticipated event of the year, and we are proud to host an evening that generates excitement and support for our fantastic downtown community,” said United Way of Hancock County CEO Kelley McClurkin. “At the same time, we feel it’s important to raise awareness that hunger is a real issue right here in Hancock County. Two in five children in our community are not food secure, so these truly are critical funds that we are raising.”

Tickets can be picked up from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays at the United Way office, 318 W. Main Cross, second floor. Elevator access is available at the back of the building.
