Days of Caring: Agency General Information

Welcome Agencies!

Please read the information below about submitting projects for Days of Caring, May 3-7, 2021.

Agencies with 501(c)3, government offices, schools, and for-profits if benefiting clients can submit projects for Days of Caring.

As we continue to learn to live with COVID-19, please consider before submitting a project if it can be completed using proper social distancing. On your registration form, you will need to list health safety protocols you have put in place to avoid the transmission of the virus for each project. UWHC can help create protocols based on guidelines provided by Hancock Public Health, if needed. Safety protocols will need to be communicated to volunteer groups before projects can be completed.

Submit your project using a Project Request Form by Monday, April 9. Volunteers typically work in 4-hour time blocks and projects can run over multiple days. Volunteer groups and agencies will be connected for planning on or before April 26.

If you are interested in a helpful list of project ideas, email sarah.mayle@uwhancock.org.

* Please bear in mind that our volunteer base is limited, and we will do the very best we can to get your project completed.
